Who is TheraCoaching for?

It may be for you if you recognise yourself in any of these.

You understand yourself well. That has not been the problem.

You have thought about this at length. Perhaps with a therapist, perhaps on your own. You can name the pattern, trace where it came from, describe what keeps happening. You have tried to use that understanding to change how you feel, to leverage the logic into a different emotional reality. The understanding is genuine. What has not shifted is the feeling underneath it, or the behaviour that keeps repeating. You are not looking for more insight. You want something to actually move.

You feel stuck. But you are not sure why.

You are not in crisis. You are coping. But something is not working, and you cannot quite name what it is. You feel as though you should be further along, more satisfied, or more certain about what you want. There is a vague sense that something needs to change. But what?

You keep repeating the same patterns.

In work. In relationships. In how you respond under pressure, or how you treat yourself when things go wrong. You can see the pattern. You may have seen it for years. But understanding it has not been quite enough to change it.

You are facing a significant change.

A career transition. A relationship ending or beginning. A move. A loss. A shift in identity: a role that no longer fits, a chapter that is closing, a new one that has not yet come clear. You want to think through it carefully, not just react to it.

You are outwardly capable, but privately uncertain.

You are someone who gets things done. Others may not see the struggle. But inside, there is doubt, exhaustion, a question about whether this is really what you want, or who you really are. The gap between how you appear and how you feel is wearing.

You want change, but you also want to understand.

Advice is not what you need. You have had plenty of that. What you want is to think carefully, honestly, and at some depth, and to use that thinking to move, rather than just to understand.

You have done some reflection already, but need something more.

Perhaps you have had therapy or counselling before, and found it useful. Perhaps you know yourself fairly well. But you are at a point where you want support that holds both the emotional reality and the practical question of what happens next.

Who this is probably not for

TheraCoaching is not suited to people in acute mental health crisis, people who need specialist clinical input, or people looking for a purely practical skills-based coaching programme.

If you are unsure whether this is the right kind of support for you, please get in touch and we can talk it through honestly.
