TheraCoaching is a trading name of Future Behaviour Ltd (company number 15252569). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use this website or enquire about our services.
We take privacy seriously. We collect only what we need, we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes, and we will always be transparent about what we hold and why.

What data we collect
We collect personal data in the following circumstances:
When you use the contact form. We collect your name, email address, and any information you choose to share in your responses to the questions on the contact page. This is necessary to respond to your enquiry and to assess whether TheraCoaching might be a suitable form of support.
When you become a client. We collect additional information required to provide coaching services, including session notes. This information is held securely and separately from website data.
We do not collect data through cookies or tracking tools beyond what is described in our Cookies Policy.
Legal basis for processing
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases:
Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries from people who have contacted us.
Contract: to deliver coaching services to clients who have agreed to work with us.
Legal obligation: where we are required by law to retain certain records.
How we use your data
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to assess whether TheraCoaching is appropriate for your needs, and, if you become a client, to deliver and manage the coaching relationship.
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making. We do not share your data with third parties except where required by law or where you have given explicit consent.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry data (contact form submissions) is retained for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted unless you have become a client.
Client session records are retained for seven years following the end of the coaching relationship, in line with professional guidance from the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). After this period, records are securely destroyed.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (where no legal obligation requires us to retain it)
- Object to or restrict our processing of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the legal basis)
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. This website is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are processed by Netlify and subject to their data processing terms.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date of last update shown at the top.
